2 horas y media en coche, y un tren directamente a valencia desde murcia? perfecto.
in september i could be living in southern spain, in murcia, where there are beautiful beaches, incredible food, wonderful people, and so much more. i have 5 days to accept the position and start planning my escape.

not much else to say.
god i love my job.
it’s going to be really hard leaving all my kids. in the ten years i participated at a middle school camp, the kids this year at the bgc are by far the most i’ve ever been attached to. i’m appreciated and respected and at times, the only one that certain individual kids will confide in.
i’ve had my shirt soaked in tears and also seen the biggest smiles on they’re faces when i’m with them and it just makes me feel like a great person. giving back to a community like the trailer park we’re at has given me so much more than i expected.
even though i’ll be leaving them all in september when i go to spain, i’m going to make it the best summer they have ever had.
Post it notes from a stay-at-home dad

Love is a feelin’
Feel the words of love
Hold these words as the sweetest embrace
And try, come on, try.
From the Atlantic:
Texas’s Fertilizer Plant ExplosionLast week, while media attention was focused on Boston, a massive explosion took place at the West Fertilizer Company, in the small town of West, Texas. The blast damaged 150 buildings, including three of West’s four schools, killed 14 people and injured more than 160 others. It was so powerful that it set off seismographs, registering as a 2.1-magnitude tremor. The cause remains unknown, and investigators are still sifting through the rubble. Today, about 1,500 West students returned to school, set up in makeshift classrooms or in nearby districts. been saying this all week.
Right now, the U.S. Congress is sneaking in a new law that gives them big brother spy powers over the entire web — and they’re hoping the world won’t notice. We helped stop their Net attack last time, let’s do it again.
Over 100 Members of Congress are backing a bill (CISPA) that would give private companies and the US government the right to spy on any of us at any time for as long as they want without a warrant. This is the third time the US Congress has tried to attack our Internet freedom. But we helped beat SOPA, and PIPA — and now we can beat this new Big Brother law.
Our global outcry has played a leading role in protecting the Internet from governments eager to monitor and control what we do online. Let’s stand together once again — and beat this law for good. Sign the petition then forward to everyone who uses the Internet! [Click]
